Bio

I was born in Los Angeles, raised in the Mojave desert, and have lived as an adult in Palm Springs, Riverside and San Diego. I love my home. But everyone loves their home, don’t they? Everyone has pride about where they’re from. I have pride in my home. Like the ocean shapes a rock, California has shaped me.

I tried to move away once, I was gone a little over a year. I learned that the rest of the United States is not California.

As i moved back to the West Coast a close friend from the East Coast told me “Gloria, you’re the classic California Girl, i had a feeling you’d go back.” He was right.
